About Andrew Adams

Andrew Adams had appeared as soloist with the New York Philharmonic, Spoleto Festival USA, Festivale dei Due Mondi, Italy; and in opera, concert & recital in the US and Germany.  He has been music director of several churches and temples in the New York and Los Angeles metro areas, including New York's Church of St. Mary the Virgin on Times Square and Park Avenue Christian Church. He is the founder and music director of Denver’s Orpheus Pagan Chamber Choir.
As a member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, New York Choral Artists, and  the Westminster Choir, he performed frequently with the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Vienna Philharmonic, Los Angeles Philharmonic and others under Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Carlo Maria Giulini, Kurt Masur, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Robert Shaw, Joseph Flummerfelt, and Roger Wagner.

Reflective of his love for art song, he collaborated with NYC’s 92nd St. Y to produce the 1999 Poulenc Plus! Festival and International Vocal Competition, celebrating the music of Francis Poulenc. Featured in concerts throughout Manhattan were acclaimed singers Michel Senechal and Norah Ansellam in recital with pianist Dalton Baldwin, pianist Pascal Roge, the Westminster Choir,  the EOS Orchestra, and others.
He maintains a private voice studio in Denver and is a published composer/arranger.
